A solemn ceremony of handing Republican Theatre Award "Tantana" ("Triumph") will take place at the G. Kamal theatre

 March   27,  19.00,  at  the  G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre Kamal  a solemn presentation ceremony of  the Republican Theatre Award "Tantana" ("Triumph") takes place .

The prize is awarded for the fifth time, traditionally, on  the International Theatre Day - March 27.

The  ceremony is directed  by  Radik Bariev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Last week a jury Tantana  sitting  was held", where the names of nominees became known. Among the 89 members of the jury  weeded  out  more than half applications. As a result, for seeking  award  47 nominees were  put forward: among them, the individual acting, acting ensembles and performances.

Among  the most anticipated nomination "Event of the Year" this year will compete theaters from Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan. "Event of the Year" could be: the play "The Servant of Two Masters"  by  Naberezhnochelninskiy Drama Theatre and "Yozhik  and   tuman  (Hedgehog and the mist)", a performance for the blind and visually impaired children Naberezhnochelninskiy puppet theater, "Khoja Nasreddin",  by Kamal theater, "Black Chamber"   by  K.Tinchurin  theatre  and performance   by Kazan Youth Theater "Love for the people."

The annual Republican Theatre Award "Tanatana" ("Triumph") was established by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The prize is awarded to employees, dramatic, musical and puppet theaters of the republic for outstanding creative achievements in  social and theatrical arts.
