Premiere for the whole family - "Papamalogy" at the Kazan Youth Theater

15 June 2021, Tuesday

Radion Bukaev turned to Grigory Oster again

On June 19, at 14:00 and 18:00, the Kazan Youth Theater will host the premiere of the musical lesson "Papamalogy" by G. Oster. This will be the fifth production by Radion Bukaev based on the work of a children's writer - earlier he had already turned to his books “Children and These” and “Candy Eating”.

Papamalogy is a show for family viewing, so it speaks the language of children and their parents at the same time. Radion Bukaev places Oster's characters in the space of the popular video game Minecraft and shows the world of adults through the eyes of a child who is trying to study the science of papamalogy, which is not always clear to him.

“This is a very family story, because there are spelled out adult dialogues that children often hear at home. This is an educational lesson for children, adults and me too. On the one hand, it is very entertaining and musical, but on the other, there is a deep meaning laid down by Grigory Oster, ”said the director.

The musical accompaniment of the performance will be performed by a live orchestra consisting of artists from the Youth Theater. At the same time, for the first time in the history of the Kazan Youth Theater, musicians will also become participants in the action.

The production designer was the Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of the All-Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask" Albert Nesterov, the lighting designer - Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, nominee of the All-Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask" Evgeny Ganzburg, the composer - Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Chaplin.
