An exhibition of leaflets and posters of the Great Patriotic War "There are many languages, one victory" will open in Kazan

On May 8 at 10:00 on the eve of Victory Day, an exhibition of reprints of posters, leaflets and newspapers from the times of the Great Patriotic War in the languages ​​of the peoples of the USSR will open at  the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan. Among the exhibits of the exhibition, for the first time, leaflets of the Political Administration of the Red Army will be presented to a wide audience, telling about the heroes of the Soviet Union of different nationalities in the languages ​​of the peoples of the USSR: Tatar, Georgian, Armenian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Tajik, Bashkir, Kyrgyz, etc.

In addition, for the first time, the oaths taken by servicemen called up to the ranks of the Red Army will also be exhibited in various languages. A separate stand will be devoted to a series of articles by the writer Ilya Ehrenburg about the peoples of the USSR fighting against Nazism: "Tatars", "Kirghiz", "Armenians" and others.

Electronic copies of the reprints were ordered from various museums and archives, including federal ones. Some of the images had never been exhibited before and were known to a narrow circle of specialists.

The entrance to the exhibition is free.
