Minister of Culture of the Republic of TatarstanIradaAyupova meets with Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany

“Culture has no boundaries. Today it is very important not to create these boundaries, but to destroy them, ”said Minister of Culture of the Republic of TatarstanIradaAyupova today at a meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kazan, Mr. Arno Scheier.

Mr. Arno Scheyer has been living in Kazan for more than 15 years, during the conversation he noted that his wife is fluent in the Tatar language. The Honorary Consul runs his own trade and consulting firm for road construction.

“We have been working closely with Germany for many years. It is necessary to build communication in the field of scientific research and education. Our talented students could undertake internships in new areas for the Russian Federation. Such as management and marketing in art. 12 years ago, I myself underwent an internship in Lower Saxony in Hanover, ”said IradaKhafizyanovna.

Mr. Arno Scheier stressed that the multinationality of Tatarstan has always had a special appeal.

 “We are open to any cooperation. Our task is for Germany and Tatarstan to develop a joint rich cultural history, ” Honorary Consul noted.

 

Cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Germany has been developing quite actively in recent years. Last year, Leipzig hosted the Sabantuy Folk Festival for the first time. Then the holiday of the plow gathered all the Tatars of Germany, where the State ensemble of folk music of the Republic of Tatarstan took an active part.

The "Day of Tatar Culture" was held here quite recently. The audience got acquainted with  traditional culture of Tatarstan during a four-hour open-air concert. In the summer of 2019, volunteers from Germany took part in the work of the international UNESCO camp “Bolgar World Heritage Volunteers”.

 The guest thanked  Minister of Culture of the Republic of TatarstanIradaAyupova for the warm welcome and hospitality.
