The winners of the "Theater Volga" festival became known

The federal  district stage of the most popular and spectacular youth festival of the Volga Federal District “Theater Volga Region” has come to the end.

For the title of the best school and student theater in the Volga Federal District, 28 groups from 14 regions of the district have been struggling. In total, about seven thousand young actors took part in the project, which was had been  at the initiative of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. Their performances were watched by more than 100 thousand people.

The festival has become a real theater festival, one of the most striking youth projects of the Year of the Theater in Russia.

The ceremony of summing up the festival was watched live in all regions of the Volga Federal District. Young actors were welcomed by their eminent colleagues.   the The video message  for children   with parting words and wishing them luck    on the creative path was  recorded   by famous actors: People’s Artist of Russia Andrei Sokolov and theater and film actor Andrei Gaidulyan.

The winners have been determined    by popular vote and estimates of the professional jury, which were formed in the ratio of 50 to 50. Almost 30 thousand people cast their votes for their favorite actors.

In the nomination "Best School Theater", the model theater studio "Pause" from the Republic of Bashkortostan won. Their "Tale of Emelya – Lodyr(Idler) " was remembered by the audience with a vivid acting and genuine emotions.

The title of the best student theater of the  federal district, the audience and the jury awarded the inter-university student theater "Apricot Garden" from the Chuvash Republic. The guys in their work “My grandfather was a cherry” talk with the audience about problems of fathers and children and how at any age not to lose sincerity and remain open to the world and people.

The jury awarded Dmitry Mironov from the Chuvash Republic for the performance “My Grandfather was a Cherry” based on the novel by Angela Netty, winning the nomination “Best Director among Student Theaters”.

The best director among school theaters became Natalia Kuchishkina from the Penza region. The victory was brought to her by the production of "Tim Thaler, or Laughter Sold" by James Crews.

The title of best actor among student theaters will now be proudly worn by Vyacheslav Krasnov from the Chuvash Republic, who played the role of Tonino in the play "My Grandfather was a Cherry." The first place for the best acting among school theaters went to Ivan Shashlov from the Saratov region. Ivan played the main role of the Duckling in a plastic drama based on the tale of G.Kh. Andersen's The Ugly Duckling.

In the nomination “The best actress among student theaters”, Laysan Gataullina from the Republic of Tatarstan took the lead. The role of Fatyma in the play "Parking"  admired  many spectators of the festival and brought Laysan well-deserved fame.

Experts chose Roza Korobova from the Chuvash Republic as the best actress of the school theater, who brilliantly played the role of Yana in the play «Sketches of Fate».

The winners in the nomination “School and student theater groups” will receive commemorative badges and targeted grants for staging a new performance from 100 to 200 thousand rubles. And for  directors and actors who have become the best, a creative gift has been prepared - a trip to Moscow for  performances by  the leading Russian theaters.

The winners at the festival closing ceremony on December 16 will personally be congratulated by  Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov.
