Soloist of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil Alessandro Kaggeji became a laureate of the International Competition "Young Ballet of the World"

The names of the winners of the VII International Competition of  Yuri Grigorovich "Young Ballet of the World", which took place in Sochi, became known.

The II Prize Laureate and Silver Medal winner  became  the soloist of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil Alessandro Kaggeji. The artist also received a prize for the best modern choreography.

The competition consisted of three rounds, in which the soloist performed variations from the ballets Harlequinade, Corsair, Esmeralda, Flame of Paris, Don Quixote, as well as the contemporary  «Franz»  to music by F. List in his choreography .

The Seventh International Competition “Young Ballet of the World” was held from September 30 to October 6 at the stage of the Winter Theater in Sochi. The “Young Ballet of the World-2019” was dedicated to the Year of the Theater in Russia, 50 young dancers of two age groups from 15 countries of the world, including Russia, Armenia, Brazil, Serbia, Great Britain, Italy, Finland, Japan, became its participants. The jury, chaired by the People's Artist of the USSR, Academician Yuri Grigorovich, included leading figures in world ballet -heads of theaters and choreographic schools, choreographers, and teachers.

laureate of the 2nd prize, winner of the Silver Medal and prize for the best contemporary choreography of the VII International Competition of Yuri Grigorovich “Young Ballet of the World” (Sochi, 2019).

Born in Manchester, UK. In 2015, he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (teacher Andrei Smirnov). Admitted to the ballet troupe TASTOiB  after M. Jalil in 2015

He toured with the troupe in Europe.
