Photoproject of the exhibition “Golden Horde and the Black Sea. Lessons of the Genghiside Empire ”enters the shortlist of the PROBA Awards

The names of the finalists of the XX international PROBA Awards 2019 have become known. Photoproject of the exhibition “Golden Horde and the Black Sea. Lessons of the Genghiside Empire ”of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve of the Hermitage-Kazan Center were included in the shortlist of PROBA Awards in the nomination“ Hermitage Choice ”.

The competition was attended by PR campaigns dedicated to the Hermitage, its projects and centers in Russia and in the world. By the way, the State Hermitage has been an organizational partner of PROBA AWARDS for more than 17 years. This year the main museum of the country celebrates 255 years since its foundation, for the PROBA Awards, 2019 is also a jubilee year - the prize will be 20 years old, and therefore a special nomination “The Hermitage Choice” has been established.

The award ceremony will be held tomorrow, September 26, in the Atrium of the Hermitage General Staff.

Photoproject of the exhibition “Golden Horde and the Black Sea. Lessons of the Genghiside Empire ”is the first educational project of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve in the public space, aimed at popularizing the history and culture, as well as the exhibition activities of the Hermitage in Kazan. Symbolic exhibits were presented to Kazan residents and guests of the capital on the Kremlin embankment and Gorky Park in an unexpected perspective and a large zoom.
