"Echo of the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema" starts in Kazan

On December 3, at the Mir cinema, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the traditional film festival Echo of the Kazan International Muslim Cinema Festival will be held - an annual project that demonstrates the pictures created by   the festival participants by filmmakers from different countries of the world. The screenings will be held in municipal cinema halls of cities and regions of the republic from December 3 to 9.

The program includes 8 films participating in the film festival-2018 from Iran, Egypt, Bangladesh, Turkey, Kazakhstan, India, as well as Tatarstan-made films. The audience will have a unique opportunity to see the film-winner of the Grand Prix - “Affectionate indifference of the world” A. Yerzhanov (Kazakhstan). The program also includes: The Egyptian film “Photocopy” by T. Ashri (winner tape in the nomination “Best Male Role”), the Turkish film “Halef” by M. Duzgunoglu (winner of the “Best Scenario” KMFMK-2018), the Iranian film “Golnesa” C .Sh.Gol (“The best director of a full-length feature film” and “The Best Cinematography”), as well as the films “Love and Shukla” by S. Jatla (India) and “Khaldaa” by T. Ahmed (Bangladesh), that were beloved by the festival audience. Tatarstan will be presented with the films “Gulnazek - the winner of divs” E.Ermolina (winner of the special prize of the Guild of Film Critics and Film Critics of Russia) and “Nigez Yort” (“Father's House”) N. Yurushbaeva and A. Galiaskarova.
