The Foundation "Art, Science and Sport" presents the inclusive portal "Special View" in Kazan

On November 13, 2018 from 16.30 to 20.00 hours, the Alisher Usmanov Charity Foundation "Art, Science and Sport" together with the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired in partnership with the «Garage» Museum of Contemporary Art will present a multifunctional Internet platform for the blind and visually impaired people «Special View». The event will be held with the participation of the Directorate "Time of at the House of Culture named after V.I. Lenin.

The portal publishes the latest news on inclusive projects, medical and technical developments in the field of ophthalmology, interviews with typhoid educators and psychologists, interesting life stories of people with different vision opportunities, as well as a poster of cultural, educational and sports events throughout the country adapted for people with visual features. For all visitors to the Internet resource, the largest in Russia tiflo-audio cinema operates. For the convenience of users, all materials of the portal are presented both in text and in audio format, and all photos and illustrations will be accompanied by a typed comment.

As part of the presentation, Lada Talyzina, Manager of the Inclusive Programs Group of the «Garage» Museum of Contemporary Art, will talk about the experience of holding events of various formats for the blind and visually impaired audience at the Museum in Moscow. And also about what are the ways to attract the audience to such events, and how the calendar “Special View” portal can help. Anatoly Popko, a blind expert in the field of non-visual accessibility, will devote his speech to the portal’s functional. Colleagues from the Moscow dog training center "Dogs-assistants of the disabled" will present the Project "We are happy to guide dogs" and will tell how the portal "Special Look" will help in creating an accessible and friendly environment for the owners of four-legged helpers. The Kazan presentation of the portal will be held in a public talk format, in which city partners of the project will also take part - representatives of the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Tatar Regional Organization of World Society of the Blind, the Directorate for the Support of Cinema Projects and the Organization «Time of Cinema? Galiasgar Kamal theatre. Tatar State Theater for Young Spectators after Gabdulla Kariyev, State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Preserve Kazan Kremlin and the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants of the presentation will tell about the experience of creating programs for the blind and visually impaired and how the accessible environment is developing in Kazan.

The result of the presentation will be the achievement of partnership agreements, under which the portal will be a link and combine information about available programs and projects in Russia and the world. A similar program will be implemented in Krasnoyarsk, Sochi, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
