On October 3, at 10:00, a solemn ceremony will be held to lay the “Gorky Apple Alley” in a garden of the А.М. Gorky museum in Krasnovidovo village of the Kama-Ustyinsky district in honor of the 150th anniversary of the writer A.M. Gorky. Creating an apple garden at the Museum of A.M. Gorky has entered the state program "Implementation of the state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020."

In 1979, the A.M. Gorky museum was established in the village of Krasnovidovo. The branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. The museum is located in a brick house, where a living room and a retail store of a friend of Alexei Peshkov, M.A. Romas, were recreated.

The purpose of planting trees is to revive an apple orchard. Krasnovidovo is a village located on the picturesque bank of the Volga. In former times, the village was famous for its apple gardens, located on the high bank of the Volga, the locals actively traded apples, and the village Krasnovidovo got its name thanks to the beautiful landscapes. A.M. Gorky himself in «My Universities» book described: "Apple trees are blooming, the village is shrouded in pinkish snowdrifts and a bitter smell, it penetrates everywhere." It became a tradition to celebrate Apple Savior on August 19 near the A.M. Gorky musuem, which over the past three years has become a national holiday.

The ceremonial opening will begin at 10.00 with the participation of the leadership of the Kama-Ustyinsky region, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan and Krasnovidovsky rural settlement. At 10.30 a solemn planting of apple trees will begin.

Gorky Apple Alley will decorate the garden and will be an important milestone for the environment. Planting trees is an invaluable contribution to history.
