This proposal was made by the expert of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Ekaterina Manko within the framework of the pilot project on public formation of the goals and tasks by the authorities.

According to her, there are more than 150 museums in the republic, but it is impossible to get acquainted with all exposures because of the limited space. This problem can be solved through the development of electronic museums.

"Even while at home or at work, you can get acquainted with the works of classical artists or contemporary artists. Moreover, not only residents of the republic, but all those who have the Internet will be able to do this, "Manko said.

To date, three virtual museums are already operating in the republic: an information and educational center "Russian Museum: a virtual museum", an Internet museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, and the Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

An increase in number of digitized objects of museum funds will be a huge step towards the accessibility of art, the expert stressed.

"For me, as an artist, it's important that art is as accessible to as many people as possible, and artists have more opportunities for self-realization," Manko said.

In addition, she stated that it is necessary to instill in youth a love of culture and museums through Internet applications and quests.

"There are unique objects of cultural and aesthetic heritage of the world scale in Tatarstan, it is necessary to broadcast it even more brightly with the help of the Internet space. The enlightening, educational and peacemaking role of Tatarstan's culture should be more actively involved in people's lives, acting as an intermediary with the countries of the world through digital technologies, "concluded Manko.

Ekaterina Manko is adviser to the chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan on culture, head of the youth section of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. She is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, the Moscow Surikov Art Museum, teaches academic painting and sculpture at the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

In an annual message to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan President Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced that the residents of the republic will now take a direct part in determining the priorities of the ministries and departments of the republic. The pilot project has started on September 21.
