The State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Tatarstan has opened the 81st concert season

Today, on September 20, the 81st concert season of the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Tatarstan has opened at the Tatar State Philharmonic Society under the direction of the People's Artist of Russia, a laureate of the State Tukay Award Anatoly Shutikov. One of the largest collectives in Russia turns 25 years old. The opening ceremony of the season was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova and director of the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G. Tukaya Kadim Nurullin.

In her congratulatory address Irada Ayupova noted: "The orchestra was created in difficult 90s. It was a brave act for those times. Anatoly Ivanovich, thank you very much for being able to gather such a wonderful collecctive, raising it to a high level. You are known in Russia and abroad. In recent years, on tour to foreign countries, the orchestra left, however, infrequently. I think that together we need to think about this and organize tours to other countries. "

This evening with the orchestra performed the soloists of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater: Daniil Shtoda, Elena Tsvetkova, Sergey Romanov, Irina Mataeva. There were works by D. Shostakovich, J. Offenbach, J. Rossini, J. Bise, G. Donizetti, V. di Paola, P. Tchaikovsky, G. Shenderev, M. Blanter, A. Pakhmutova, F. Loe, A. Tsygankov , F.Legar, C.Biksio L.Dentsa, J.Gershwin, Yu.Gulyaev, L.Anderson.

The concert was also attended by a Russian opera singer, Honored Artist of Tatarstan, soloist of the Vienna State Opera Aida Garifullina.
