For the media representatives, the contest "Skilful verb"

Vladimir Potanin's charity fund invites journalists and media to take part in the contest "Skilful verb" dedicated to projects in the field of culture and cultural events.

Interregional competition for journalists and media "Artful verb" named after V.Yu. Matveev was established by the Vladimir Potanin Charity Fund and the State Hermitage in 2016 on the initiative of the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts.

The purpose of the competition is to increase the information openness of museums and cultural institutions, to strengthen the status and quality of regional cultural journalism, to draw attention to the regional centers of the Hermitage and to create "centers of attraction" for the press of new partners in them.

In 2018, the prize is awarded in the following categories:

- "The best blogger material";

- "Lushy interview";

- "The best article";

- "The best radio program about culture";

- "The best TV program about culture";

- "The best photo essay";

- "The best publication about the State Hermitage";

- "The best media in the field of culture."

Journalists from 20 cities are eligible for the award:

Abakan, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Samara, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ulan-Ude, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk.

 

The competition can be provided with journalistic materials and records or plots of blogs, video blogs published in print media, broadcast on television and radio, posted on the Internet from June 1 to June 30, 2018.

Materials for the competition can provide

- authors independent bloggers, journalists, regular and freelance media employees, covering events in the sphere of culture and arts,

- representatives of projects in the sphere of culture;

- Anyone who is familiar with the material, who considers them worthy of participation in the competition.

The contest is held in two stages - regional and federal.

The winners of the regional stage will take part in the Hermitage Days in the center - the satellite of the Hermitage in Vladivostok, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan.

The authors of the two best materials in each nomination will go to St. Petersburg for the Hermitage Days, including additional awards in honorable nominations "For Contribution to Cultural Journalism" and "Grand Prix".

Arrival and accommodation of winners in cities carrying out a special program are paid by the Foundation.
