One of her recognized masterpieces is a portrait of an outstanding historian of the world art, a bright art critic of the A.Prakhov era,  was created by I.Kramskiy in 1879.

Recently, the Tretyakov Gallery has been making a lot of efforts to return paintings to its "native" frames, which artists had  ordered to professional frameworks of their time. Such frames are of unique value. Thus, for the first time the work by  V.D. Polenov "Portrait of the artist Ilya Repin" will be shown in a frame selected by the author himself.

The works presented at the exhibition are the pearls of the Moscow meeting and reveal the evolution of the art of the 19th century, to demonstrate its movement from realism to impressionism and modernity.
