On the Day of Russia "Parade of Friendship of Peoples" will be held in Kazan

June 12, 2018 in Kazan, the "Parade of Friendship of Peoples" will take place. The action takes place within the framework of the cultural program of the FIFA World Cup 2018. The event is traditionally held on the Day of Russia in all major cities of the country. For the first time the parade was held in the Central Park of Culture and Rest named after M. Gorky in 2017. The federal coordinator of the action is the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs.

Representatives of youth organizations and national-cultural autonomies, institutions of civil society, the active of student associations, invited residents of the city will take part in the People's Friendship Parade.

Within the framework of the festival, specialized venues will be organized: traditional folk games and fun, karaoke-battles in the national style, master classes in crafts and much more. Participants of the event and residents of the city will get acquainted with the photo exhibition "The Many Faces of Tatarstan", where portraits of young people - residents of Tatarstan representing various nations that are performed without signs of any nationality - will be presented.

On the main stage of the festival will be a concert program dedicated to the Day of Russia. The festival will feature performers and amateur groups representing different peoples of Tatarstan, as well as professional creative ensembles. The concert program will end with the performance of the well-known Kazan youth group "Runers".

Organizers of the event: the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The beginning of the People's Friendship Parade at 11.00.

Venue: Gorky Central Park of Culture and Culture.

Place of collection - the area behind the stop of the Park of Culture and Rest  named after. M. Gorky.
