The days of gifts for the museum: to the 55th anniversary of student construction teams of Tatarstan
The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan invites residents of Kazan and the republic to take part in the charity event "The Days of Gifts" dedicated to the 55th anniversary of student construction teams of Tatarstan. The days of gifts will be held June 5-6 at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatartsan from 10.00 to 17.00 at: the Kremlin str, 2.
The birth of construction teams of Tatarstan is considered to be 1963, when three detachments of KISI (Kazan Civil Engineering Institute) left for construction sites in the Tselinograd region and the Kazakh ASSR.
Student detachments participated in the development of virgin and fallow lands, harvesting of grain, worked on the most important construction projects - BAM, oil complexes of Tyumen and Turkmenia, Nechernozemye.
Among the students of the seventies among the addresses of labor exploits - the giant plant KamAZ and the young city on the banks of the Kama, the Nizhnekamsk petrochemical complex, Zainskaya GRES, the Druzhba oil pipeline, Orgsintez and other objects.
Student construction teams of Tatarstan participated in the construction of objects of the World Universiade-2013 and the Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi. Nowadays, they work at local facilities in Kazan and the Republic - they build kindergartens and medical institutions, participate in environmental programs.
In order to replenish the collections and in connection with the creation of an exhibition dedicated to the 55th anniversary of student groups of Tatarstan, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan with gratitude will receive the materials of the leaders and rank-and-file fighters of student construction teams of different generations:
documents and photographs,
overalls and working tools,
pennants and banners, souvenirs, objects of everyday culture, reflecting the activities and traditions of the student movement.
