Exhibition by Ilgiz Gimranov "You should be here" will open at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan

On May 16. at 15.00, at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan an exhibition of works by the artist Ilgiz Gimranov "You should be  here" opens.

Ilgiz Gimranov is a well-known Kazan artist, founder and art director of the first non-state art gallery in Kazan «Arsenal», worked in the studio of the artist Ildar Khanov, participated in numerous exhibitions and art projects in Russia and abroad. In 2017 he created a fundamentally new urban art concept - a series of paintings "Khrushchevochki."

At the new exhibition "You should be here", the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan presents 30 works by the artist from the series "Khrushchev". In April 2018, the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in London hosted a solo exhibition of the artist «Khrushchev's Thaw.  Housing I Loved», which featured works from this series.

The exhibition will run until June 12.
