At the National Museum of Tatarstan a solemn taking out of a military banner will be held

May 6, 2018,  12.00,  at  the national Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan a solemn event "Banner - a symbol of Victory", dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945, with the traditional taking out  of the banner from the Museum will be held.

The national Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan keeps memory of heroic past of our Fatherland. During the year, within the walls of the largest Museum of the Volga region a cycle of Patriotic events is on: Museum celebrations and educational activities.

One of the significant relics of the great Patriotic War, stored in the Museum, is the Banner of the 280th artillery regiment 146 infantry division-"Workers of Bugulminsky  region" that had  participated in  storming  Berlin. The banner of Victory is the state relic of Russia, the official symbol of the victory of the Soviet people and its Armed forces over Nazi Germany in the great Patriotic war of 1941 1945.

On the eve of the great Victory, the national Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a program about women who took part in hostilities and forged a Victory in the rear. Representatives of the city Council of veterans of Kazan will share their memories of the war years.

On the same day at 13.00 the winners of the contest of school museums halls (rooms) of Military glory of educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan "Yunarmeytsy - guardians of military glory", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of military commissariats will be awarded. The purpose of the competition, held by the Regional branch of the all - Russian military-Patriotic children's and youth public movement "YUNARMIYA (Young Army)" together with the national Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, to attract the attention of state institutions and public associations to the problem of preserving the historical memory of fellow countrymen, defenders of the Fatherland and the activities of school museums. 259 works from 36 municipal districts of the Republic took part in the competition.

The culmination of this day will be the artistic and reconstructive composition "Battle  after Victory" with the participation of the military-historical club "Vityaz". In the courtyard of the Museum   the story of the reconstruction of the battle will unfold.

During the day, exhibitions will be arranged  in the framework of the project "Nota Bene" - "Victory Day" and "Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic war."
