Issues on the support and development of enterprises of folk arts and crafts were discussed in Moscow
Today at the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation the XXXIII conference of the Association "National Art Crafts of Russia" was held. Representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in its work.
Before the participants of the conference, arrived from 50 regions spoke Veniamin Kaganov, adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets, First Vice President of the Russian Academy of Arts Viktor Kalinin, Deputy Director of the Department of Socially Significant Goods of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Lilia Nurgatina, General Director of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative and Applied and Folk Art Elena Titova.
The meeting discussed legislative initiatives to improve measures of state support crafts, additional directions for using support funds from the federal budget, as well as the development of tourism activities in places where traditional crafts existed and the infrastructure for selling handicrafts.
Within the framework of the conference, projects were presented in the sphere of development and popularization of this industry.
