The Diploma in nomination "Best Actor’s Ensemble" and Gratitude letter to the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan from the organizers of the international festival "Theatrical Divertissement"
Actors of the Bugulma State Drama Theater named after A.Batalov returned from tours to the cities of Israel. There, in the framework of the international festival "Theatrical Divertissement", the troupe presented the play "Golubtsy by Announcement" based on Anton Fink's play.
The existence of the festival of Russian theaters "Theatrical Divertissement" for those born on the territory of the former USSR, as a sip of spring water, the opportunity to pick up strength and inspiration from the sources.
Completely unexpected and unique was the meeting of the team with Dora Shames, who lived in the evacuation in Bugulma not far from the theater.
- I was born in Leningrad. In February 1942, our family was evacuated via the ice of Lake Ladoga, - she says. - They brought me to Bugulma, first they sent me to a Tatar village, five kilometers from the city, but since I was a schoolgirl, and there were no schools, they relocated to the city. We settled in the apartment of the theater's ticket-holder. Then it was called a miniature theater. I remember the plays by Ostrovsky, where Nina Olshevskaya played, the mother of Alexei Batalov. Of the professional actors there were only three: two dramatic actresses and one man, the rest - amateurs. Even my sister later sang in this theater.
Dora Shames came to the play "Golubtsy by the announcement", which was held in the city of Ashdod. She handed the note, and after the performance the collective met with her.
Invariably after each performance behind the scenes grateful spectators would come.
The halls of Maalot, Ashdod, Ariel, Rish-on- Lezion are large, for 300-400 spectators, this is twice as much as in the Bugulma theater. But they were full every time. Especially on the last day of the tour, when, based on the reviews of the audience of the first performances, Rish-on- Lezion bought up almost all the tickets. By the way the price for them is higher than in Bugulma 5-6 times. Tickets cost from 136 to 176 shekels, which in translation for our money - 2,250 - 2,900 rubles.
- To say that we were worried, how the viewers of another state will take us - do not say anything, - now the director of the theater Vladislav Yudin speaks with a smile. - We experienced very much. And imagine: the show begins, and the audience does not react for the first 15 minutes. Actors continue to play, and suddenly the hall seems to wake up: smiles, laughter, applause, turning into an ovation, flowers, shouting "Bravo!". At the end, they did not want to free Anastasia Azorova, Riyaz Usmanov, Ruslan Sungatullin, Olga Sancharova, Roman Nikitin and Natalia Borodina for a long time.
The organizers of the festival helped the troupe of the Bugulma theater with props, transported it from one stage to another and also watched the production. Each time they repeated the same phrase: "Many performances from Russia have been seen, we know much, but you give odds even to regional theaters!".
On behalf of the festival in the person of the organizer of the international festival "Theatrical Divertissement", the director of the producer company "Applause" Dagmara Giller, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Sibagatullin received a Letter of Gratitude in which the following was reported:

Bugulmintsers became for Israeli viewers a gulp of clean water, and for many - a breath of fresh wind from the Motherland. The high skill of the actors, the director has conquered our hearts.

Dagmar Giller suggested that the theater return to Israel again with another production. The directorate of the BGRAD named after A.Batalov decided to present Arshin mal alan (U. Hajibeyov) to the audience. Sparkling national humor, generously flavored with music, dances, songs, will appeal to those who already loved the actors of the Bugulma theater. And there are such. Not without reason, following the results of the Israeli tours, a diploma was awarded in the nomination "Best Actor’s Ensemble" for the support in the development of cultural ties between the Russian Federation and the State of Israel, as well as for the sparkling actor's game.
