The public of the republic suffered an irreparable loss

On the 89th year of life the painter, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Yakupova Rushaniya Mustafovna died.

R.M. Yakupova was born on February 3, 1929 in the village of Kyzyl-Mosque of the Orenburg region. She graduated from the painting department of the porcelain of the Dulevo art and craft school, then - the Kazan Art College. She worked as an artist-designer in the Art Fund of the Tatar ASSR, was engaged in creating illustrations for Tatar and Russian folk tales.

R.M. Yakupova  has  participated in city, republican and zonal exhibitions for more than forty years. The best works by  Yakupova are in the collections of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, in private collections in the USA, France, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain, Israel.

Distinctive features of the creativity of Rushaniya Yakupova are harmony, spiritual integrity and optimism. With her usual kindness and kindness she created in her works bunches of flowers, still lifes with Tatar towels, illustrations based on Russian and Tatar fairy tales: "Lilac and Lily of the Valley", "Still Life. Gifts of the East "," Beginning of autumn"," Lilies on a black background "," Geese-swans "," Kolobok ". Sparkling colors, touching warmth of things illuminate her work, penetrate into the soul and cause a desire to love life and share love.

Rushania Mustafovna was a woman of extraordinary beauty, intelligence and goodwill.
