November 21 (18.30)  the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G. Tukai will host a concert by Mirna Kleiton and the Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan under the direction of the honored art worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Anatolia Vasilevsky.

The concert is held in the framework of the subscription "Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra Presents" and the international festival "Jazz-Crossover-Fest-Kazan"

The Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the leading professional jazz groups in Russia, the Oleg Bigmstrem orchestra, the Kazan big band is a worthy successor and custodian of the best traditions of world orchestral jazz performance.

In the late 1950s, the State Orchestra of Tatarstan's Cinematography was created from the musicians of O. Lundstrem's orchestra, who remained in Kazan. Gradually the orchestra began to replenish ин  young Kazan musicians. For four decades, the orchestra was led by the "Shanghai" comrade O. Lundstrem, the legend of Kazan jazz, tenor saxophonist Victor Dering.

On January 1, 2011, the Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan was established on the basis of two groups of the Philharmonic Society - the State Variety Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Orchestra of Cinematography of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since the first performance, the orchestra's artistic director has been appointed the famous conductor, Honored Artist of the Tatarstan, professor Anatoly Vasilevsky.
