Rehearsals of two new performances for children began at the Kazan Theater of the young spectators have started. The repertoire of the theater will be replenished with the performance "Nose" for children from 12 years old and "Penguins" for kids over 6 years old.
A fantastic detective in one act "Nose" based on the eponymous work by Nikolai Gogol puts the theater's chief director Tufan Imamutdinov. According to him, the performance will be of interest to teenagers. This is a mystical story about the loss of his own "I", his search and finding. In the production, modern techniques and actual genre analogies will be used. As in the play, the performance has a lot of unexpected, fantastic, funny and original. It preserves Gogol's humor, woven into a mystical plot.
Tale-parable "Penguins" based on the play of German playwright Ulrich Hub "At the Ark at Eight" is directed by Ilgiz Zainiev. The story tells of three penguins who lived very boring and not very friendly until they got the message from Dove. The story of the adventures of penguins is kind, instructive and very funny.
The premiere will be held in December.
Both performances are staged as part of the three-year federal project of the United Russia party "Theaters for Children". We remind that in the Republic of Tatarstan, four state theaters for children and youth participate in the project: Kazan Youth Theater, Naberezhnye Chelny Puppet Theater, Tatar Theater of Young Spectators after G. Kariev and the Tatar Puppet Theater "Ekiyat".
All of them will receive additional funds for new productions and renovation of material and technical equipment within the framework of the party project in 2017.
