To the 120th birthday of Baki Urmanche

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the  RT State Museum of Fine Arts  invite Kazan residents and guests to the events dedicated to the 120th birthday of Baki Urmanche

In Kazan, the exhibition "Baki Urmanche" "I enjoy only the work itself ..." "and the Fifth Kazan art criticism readings will be held.

October 25, 2017 at 17.00 in the National Art Gallery "Hazine" of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan  the exhibition   «Baki Urmanche"  I enjoy only the work itself» ... dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding painter, painter, sculptor,  master of  graphic artist monumental, decorative art of Baki Idrisovich Urmanche. The exhibition includes more than two hundred works  by  painting, sculpture and graphics from museum and private collections.

The concept of the exhibition, its direction with the use of the literary creativity of the artist, photographs of the era represents immersion in the art of a bright original master whose work is imbued with incredibly positive energy, bright colors. The works by Urmanche's  fine arts are accompanied by the author's memories, in which his life and work are vividly  presented. The fate of the artist was connected with Kazan, Moscow, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan. Urmanche reflected in the canvases and sheets, sculptural works the unique beauty of these places and its people: in a portrait, a historical picture, a genre painting, a landscape, a still-life, sketches of monumental paintings and stage costumes and scenography.

The exhibition is attended by museums and private collectors from Kazan, Moscow (in particular, the works from  the Galleyev  Gallery,  the Sh. Mardzhani Foundation) and Almetyevsk. The public will be shown for the first time previously not exhibited in Kazan works: "In the foothills of Alatau" from the collection of the Fund after  Sh. Mardzhani, watercolor sketches of Kazan sights from the collection of A.D. Galiullin, sketches of the Tatar costume and scenography from the private collection of the Antiquarian Salon "Renaissance", sketches of the monumental paintings of the Balkhash Palace of Culture from the collection of the Almetyevsky Picture Gallery named after I. G.S. Stefanovsky.

Within the framework of the jubilee events, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan is conducting the Fifth Kazan Art Critic Readings on October 25-26, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the great Tatar artist. Scientists from Kazan, Almaty, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nalchik, Novorossiysk, and Chisinau take part in them.

The big book "Bucky Urmanche", which will be published during the exhibition (the exhibition will last until March 1, 2018), has been prepared for publication and is currently in print. The book presents the artist's colossal creative legacy, his works, previously unknown to the general public, and a large archive material, as well as articles of artists and culture of different years about the creative work of B.I. Urmanche.

By the opening of the exhibition "Bucky Urmanche" I enjoy only the work itself ... "" Art amateurs  are waiting for an updated exposition of works by N.I. Feshin and the exhibition of works by P.P. Benkov from the collection of the  RT Museum of Fine Arts  - outstanding artists, with whom life and fate of B.I. Urmanche   were closely connected.
